Mode of Selection – Indian Air Force AFCAT 02/2025
Written Examination (AFCAT Exam)
All applicants must appear for the AFCAT written test.
The exam consists of objective-type questions covering General Awareness, Verbal Ability, Numerical Ability, Reasoning, and Military Aptitude.
Engineering Knowledge Test (EKT) is also required for Technical Branch candidates.
Air Force Selection Board (AFSB) Interview
Candidates who qualify the written exam are shortlisted and called for the AFSB interview.
The interview assesses personality, intelligence, leadership qualities, and communication skills.
It includes multiple tests such as Psychological Tests, Group Tasks, and Personal Interview.
Document Verification
Shortlisted candidates must produce original documents (educational, identity, NCC, etc.) for verification of eligibility.
Medical Examination
Candidates who clear the AFSB are sent for a comprehensive medical examination.
