The SSC JHT Exam is conducted in two stages:

  1. Paper-I – Computer Based Test (Objective)

  2. Paper-II – Descriptive Test (Translation & Essay)

  • Active and Passive Voice

  • Fill in the blanks

  • Reading Comprehension

  • Idioms and Phrases

Paper-II: Descriptive Test

Essays and translations will be evaluated for:

  • Grammar

  • Expression

  • Vocabulary usage

  • Coherence and understanding of the language

Note:

  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer in Paper-I.

  • Final selection is based on the combined performance of Paper-I and Paper-II.
